We are seeking a highly competent Independent Financial Adviser to provide expert investment advice within regulatory guidelines and the firm’s procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of financial products, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial planning and a strong commitment to client service.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Identify and contact potential clients, gathering sufficient information to understand their needs.
  • Analyse client information and conduct thorough market and product research to make suitable recommendations.
  • Complete all supporting documentation accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory and firm standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, market conditions, and legislative changes.
  • Undertake continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance knowledge and skills, fulfilling the requirements set by regulatory bodies.
  • Provide detailed and clear information to clients about investment products, ensuring understanding of risks, costs, and tax implications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Approved qualification, such as a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience dealing with clients and five years in the financial industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the Financial Services Act 2012, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to empathise and build strong relationships with clients and team members.
