Our client is a well-established firm of Independent Financial Planners who are based in the Birmingham area, as a result of their ongoing growth they now have an excellent opportunity for a for an experienced IFA Administrator to join their buoyant and family oriented organization. The Role will involve providing Administrative support to the Advisors. Whilst working alongside a team of Paraplanners, the main purpose of the role will be:

o To work with the paraplanners and financial advisers in supporting all of the financial planning and advice process which includes requesting and collating information.

o Development of a professional one-to-one working relationship with your allocated financial adviser and adapting to their workstyle

o To be able to build and develop product and market awareness to ensure all relevant legislative and procedural changes are complied with

o Updating IO client management software and systems to keep all records accurate and up to date

o To carry out basic office tasks such as stationary ordering to support the firm

o To highly any areas of business risk within your team to your line manager

o To maintain and implement your own personal development plan

o To support the practice director and the team in the development and delivery of all processes and documentation

Candidates applying should offer the following;

" At least 6 months experience (industry or training) within an IFA practice or financial institution

" The desire to study for professional exams to reach level 4 diploma

" IT Skills with experience in the financial services back-office systems

" Good level of competence in written, oral and mathematical skills

" Sound analytical skills

" Self-organisation and methodical with good planning skills and good attention to detail
