This Paraplanner job in Birmingham is available within a highly recognised firm for their growth and high quality advice to HNW individuals and SMEs. The business has a high staff retention and prides itself on developing their internal talent.

As a Paraplanner you will be providing technical, research and administrative support to the Financial Advisors and developing suitable client recommendations. Also, you will be supporting Financial Advisors in developing and maintaining long term ongoing client relationships. As such you will:

  • Receive debriefings from the Financial Advisor post client meetings
  • Analysing data and using research tools to create solutions in line with client needs and objectives
  • Produce appropriate suitability letters, client specific illustrations and key feature documents
  • Prepare existing client files ready for review
  • Ensure all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis
  • Monitor the performance of the DFMs
  • Undertake project / client work as required

Advice is typically provided on investments, pensions and estate planning and some VCTs.

Paraplanner Requirements

  • You should be Level 4 qualified in Financial Planning
  • You should have 2+ years’ experience within Financial Services and have worked within an IFA practice
  • You should have experience using Intelligent Office and confident using MS Office
  • You should have experience of writing good reports

Paraplanner Benefits
