Paraplanner – Hybrid Working | Birmingham

We’re working with a well-established and award-winning Independent Financial Planning firm based in the heart of Birmingham, who are looking for a talented professional to join their expanding paraplanning team.

Your Role

As a key member of the paraplanning team, you’ll work closely with Financial Advisers, helping to deliver outstanding client service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Attending client meetings with Advisers to document discussions and agreed actions.
  • Preparing suitability reports and conducting technical research.
  • Undertaking calculations and performance analysis to support financial planning recommendations.
  • Assisting with implementation of product recommendations and ensuring compliance standards are met.
  • Producing illustrations and supporting documents for client presentations and reviews.
What We’re Looking For
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (CII) or very close to achieving.
  • Strong report-writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in a broad range of financial products and technical calculations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) – experience with the Fidelity platform is desirable.
  • A proactive and ambitious individual keen to contribute to the firm’s ongoing success.
