Join a dynamic team in an IFA that offers integrated and specialist financial advice for both corporate and private individuals. They are expanding and looking for an experienced Paraplanner to support their team of Financial Advisers in advising clients on financial strategies, plans, and products.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide an efficient, friendly, and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Support Financial Advisers with research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Prepare client financial plans and suitability reports, including compilation of recommendations, processing all reason why letters including suitability reports & Wealth Management Plans through to completion.
  • Analyse client data and prepare cash flow analyses.
  • Research products to support recommendations and execute due diligence investigations (e.g., VCTs, EIS, DFM company, Wrap platform).
  • Create illustrations & key facts documents for recommended products.
  • Ensure client meeting reports are fully completed.
  • Transact complex client investments and ensure that deals are carried out in line with instructions.
  • Handle or escalate generic client queries on investments, pensions, and IHT mitigation.
  • Perform manual rebasing and switching for clients.
  • Check information quality documents (IQD).
  • Liaise with product providers and other relevant third parties.
  • Manage, record, and monitor client annual reviews.
  • Assist the Team leader and advisers with annual technical reviews of services and products.
  • Maintain all supporting documentation and back-office systems as per procedures and processes.
  • Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in Paraplanning or a similar role within financial planning.
  • Hold or be working towards the CII Financial Planning Diploma or Paraplanning Diploma (not mandatory).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, supportive, and friendly environment.
  • Flexibility and a focus on quality.
