Are you ready to make a difference in the dynamic world of pensions administration? Our Third-Party Administration client is seeking an enthusiastic Pensions Analyst to join their Data Journey team. This opportunity can be aligned to either of the following offices - Birmingham, Edinburgh or Glasgow, the successful candidate will be part of a vibrant team delivering market-leading services to Defined Benefits, Defined Contributions and CARE pension arrangements.

This fantastic opportunity will be suited to a Pensions Administrator or Senior Pensions Administrator who have experience of assisting or leading on projects who are wanting to carve out their career within the projects route.

About the role:

The Pensions Analyst will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of pension administration projects to new and existing clients across Third Party Administration, whilst working closely with client teams to analyse requirements and determine the scope of projects. It will be a mix portfolio of Defined Benefits, Defined Contribution and CARE schemes, although it will be weighted more to Defined Benefits.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver and implement pensions administration projects for new and existing TPA clients across the UK, ensuring tasks are completed with project timelines.
  • Support new business activities to acquire new project and bespoke client admin work, as and when necessary
  • Draft, review and present project reports and recommendations.
  • Attend client meetings and support with their requirements.

Skills and experience required:

  • Defined Benefits (DB) or Defined Contributions (DC) Pensions operations and administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of DB & DC pensions legislation.
  • Experience of data cleansing, rectification exercises and complex calculations.
  • Experience of assisting / leading projects tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Pensions Administration Systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and colleagues at all levels.
