Position: Client Lead – Generation Services (Permanent)
Location: Birmingham or remote
We are currently supporting a leading organisation in the energy sector in their search for Client Leads to join their Generation Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong background in the UK energy market, particularly in power purchase agreements (PPAs), Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs), and Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs), to drive new business and support high-value client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:-
Stakeholder Relationship Management: Identify, create, and manage high-level strategic relationships with key partners to drive new business opportunities and foster relationships at Senior Management levels.

Business Development: Prospect and generate opportunities to grow the sector by delivering PPAs, ROCs, and REGOs, achieving challenging growth targets in a competitive market.

Account Management: Ensure the accuracy of all account data, maintaining sustainable supply and value-add pipelines across the portfolio, including power supply, gas supply, and Data & Metering Services (D&MS).

Territory Planning: Develop and manage a team territory plan to meet agreed business targets in terms of revenue, EBIT, and volume. Identify cross-sell opportunities to expand the value of the customer base.

Energy Market Expertise: A deep understanding of the UK energy market, with specific expertise in the development, negotiation, and execution of complex products and financial tools within the Generation Services space.

Experience: Proven experience working with independent generators and/or strategic clients. Substantial experience in managing accounts and working across multiple sectors, including PPAs, ROCs, REGOs, power supply, and gas supply.

Commercial & Technical Competence: Strong commercial acumen coupled with technical expertise gained within the energy industry. The ability to manage complex accounts and engage effectively with clients to drive business growth.

Competitive Insight: A demonstrable understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of competitors within the Generation Services market, with the ability to leverage this knowledge to the advantage of the business.

Driving License: A full UK driving licence is required.
