Job Opportunity: General Foreman
Location: West Midlands
Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum plus package

We are seeking a skilled General Foreman to join the Construction team on a major project in the West Midlands, working on Severn Trent Water. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-profile infrastructure work with a Tier 1 contractor.

Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will be instrumental in coordinating the safe and efficient management of a section of work on large projects, or overseeing all site activities on smaller projects. Your focus will be on ensuring all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) standards are met, while also keeping the project on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
·Coordinate and control initial site setup in collaboration with the Site Manager, implementing framework systems and procedures.
·Enforce rigorous methods and controls to ensure effective resource utilization.
·Assess security risks to site property and ensure appropriate security measures are in place.
·Support the Site Manager in maintaining and enforcing safety standards, following safety policies.
·Adhere to method statements and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
·Ensure strict compliance with all HS&E policies and procedures.

About You:

·ONC or HNC in a construction discipline
·SMSTS/SSSTS certification
·First Aid certification
·Preferably trained in confined space operations
·Experience within the water treatment industry (Non-Infrastructure) is highly desirable
