Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of forklift trucks at various client locations across the West Midlands. Candidates with backgrounds in forklift trucks, construction plant, agricultural machinery, or military plant equipment are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on a range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with the service manager and clients.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with expertise in forklift trucks, construction plant, agricultural machinery, or military plant equipment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are desirable.
