Location: Oldbury
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (1-hour lunch break)
Key Responsibilities:- Pick & Pack: Efficiently pick and pack items for orders.
- Stock Management: Replenish stock on shelves when locations are low or empty.
- Incoming Shipments: Assist with receiving and processing incoming shipments.
- Stock Movements: Use Opera software to manage stock movements, raise purchase orders, etc.
- Equipment Operation: Operate Forklift Truck (FLT) and Scissor Lift safely.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Loading/Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading of goods.
- Discrepancy Management: Help resolve any stock discrepancies.
- Stock Take: Participate in regular stock takes.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Company Policies: Follow all company rules and procedures.
- Deliveries: Make deliveries as required.
- Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Ideally, experience in the metal industry.
- Ability to operate FLT and Scissor Lift (certification may be required).
- Familiarity with Opera software or similar inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition, as the role involves manual handling.
