Multimodal Freight Operator
Offering a salary of £28,000 - £34,000 per year, depending on experience.
Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:30pm.
Office-based in Birmingham, B37.
We are working with an established Freight Forwarding organisation who are looking to recruit aMultimodal Freight Operatorto join their team.
Duties of the Multimodal Freight Operator will include:
- Handling the import and export of Ocean, Air, Road and Courier shipments from start to finish.
- Taking initial enquiry and making bookings with shipping lines, hauliers and airlines.
- Processing all freight documentation, including carrying out customs clearances.
- Ensuring and arranging the safe delivery of freight to final destination.
- Tracking and tracing through to completing the file and passing to accounts for invoicing.
- Providing support related to Freight Forwarding transactions, answering customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Responsible for any administrative duties.
