My client, a global freight forwarder, is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their team.
Candidates must have freight forwarding experience, particularly in UK haulage operations and container inventory knowledge.
Daily responsibilities include managing transport bookings, haulage allocation, customer service, and monitoring KPIs.
The position requires developing relationships with suppliers and shipping lines while maintaining key accounts.
The role offers a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 and requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

My client are a global freight forwarder they are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their team. You MUST have freight forwarding experience.

Daily duties will include:

Managing transport bookings
Haulage allocation
Customer service
Maintain key accounts
Monitoring KPI's
Developing relationships with all suppliers and focal points and shipping lines

Skills needed:

UK haulage operations, FCL / LCL and warehousing operations
Intermodal and multiple ports operation
Good geographic and container inventory knowledge

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
