A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a highly respected national firm with expertise in Acoustic design within the Environmental, Architectural and Industrial markets. With a number of offices spanning the UK, this successful organization is looking to recruit a highly skilled Acoustic Consultant to complement a team of noise specialists in their office based in Birmingham and contribute to a challenging range of projects in both public and private sectors.

Qualifications
Preferably MSc/BSc in Acoustics/ Noise and Vibration
AMIOA

Experience
Acoustic consultancy experience in the field of Environmental and/or Building Acoustics
Technically competent and IT proficient
Good communication and client liaison skills
Extensive and detailed understanding of Environmental Acoustics.
Highly organised and IT literate

Duties
Measurement surveys and reporting
Advice on legislation
Planning conditions - compliance and negotiation
Noise Impact Assessments
Liaise with consultants, engineers, and architects
Writing high quality reports
Industrial and commercial noise control
Consultation with Environmental Health Officers including advice on the appropriate use of planning conditions
Undertake noise assessment site visits all over the UK
