Our public sector client is looking for a temporary employee to join their team as an admin officer. This is initially a temporary role until March 2024. There may be chance of an extension, but this will be down to business need. This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week. Usual working hours will be 9-5 but this will be down to business need. The pay rate for this role is £11.59ph, increasing to £11.88ph at week 13.

This role is fully office based, due to the nature of the work. The office is located at B4 7NA.

As an admin officer you will be responsible for supporting with administrative tasks that come alongside the cases they look after. Your day-to-day duties will include the following but won't be limited to:

  • Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings, and meetings.
  • Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input.
  • Standard letters and correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, submissions etc, according to guidelines and instructions.
  • Ensuring compliance and administration documentation meet quality standards.
  • Resulting courts accurately
  • Answering telephone calls
  • ad hoc admin, photocopying, scanning and filing

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong administrative experience. Ideally 12-18 months of admin experience within a workplace.
