Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice. HMCTS provides administrative support for the legal system across England and Wales, ensuring justice works for everyone.

Our public sector client is looking for a temporary employee to join their team as an admin officer. This is initially a temporary role until March 2025. There may be chance of an extension, but this will be down to business need. This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week. Usual working hours will be 9-5/8-4 but this will be down to business need. The pay rate for this role is starts at £11.59 per hour and increases to £11.88 per hour a week 12.

The office is located at B4 6QA. This is fully onsite due to the nature of the role.

Your day-to-day duties will include the following but won't be limited to:

  • Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings, and meetings.
  • Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input.
  • Post opening and dispatch
  • Communications via emails, letters and telephone
  • Case management and dealing with correspondence
  • Ensuring compliance and administration documentation meet quality standards.
  • Photocopying, scanning, filing

The ideal candidate for the role will have 12-18 months of admin experience within a work place.
