My client is seeking an experienced Airfreight Import/Export Clerk to join their team in Birmingham.

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Airfreight Import/Export Clerk to join its growing team in Birmingham. You will be working for a privately owned business within a friendly, sociable team.

ROLE: Airfreight Import/Export Clerk

SALARY: Up to £35k plus bonuses and other benefits

HOURS: Monday to Friday 9 am - 5.30 pm

We are looking for a committed team player with experience of completing airfreight shipments from start to finish.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

As an Airfreight Clerk you will have a minimum of six months experience as follows:

Airfreight experience
Import and/or Export experience
Quoting/following up on quotations
Opening/closing files
Producing relevant airfreight documents
Customs Entries
Liaising with carriers
Providing first class customer service
IATA certified
Attention to detail
Strong team player
