Bell Cornwall Recruitment's client is a national charity, who support people living with disabilities. They require support from an Arts and Wellbeing Coordinator, who will be based in their office in Selly Oak but will be involved in coordinating Arts events nationally. This role would be well suited to someone with a strong administrative background, who has experience working in the education sector and is comfortable working to a syllabus. An empathy and supportive attitude when working with people with disabilities will be vital.


The Arts and Wellbeing Coordinator role:

  • Coordinating the delivery of inclusive arts and wellbeing programme across the business, nationally
  • Identify new freelance artists, and build a relationship with them
  • Ensure disabled accessibility for all events
  • Collect and input feedback and data onto their tracking software
  • To ensure purchase and stock levels of art equipment is maintained
  • Main point of contact for any feedback, queries or issues surrounding arts and wellbeing classes/sessions

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Experience working with people with disabilities (highly desirable)
  • Empathy and patience when working with service users (required)
  • Experience working in an education sector, or in other ways experience following a curriculum/syllabus
  • Experience with purchasing
  • Ability to balance multiple, potentially conflicting workloads
  • Ability to work on a hybrid basis, from home and the office in Selly Oak
