Contract Automotive Verification Engineer - 12 Months - Remote

  • Rate: Up to £53 per hour (Outside IR35)
  • Location: Remote - Client based in Birmingham, West Midlands
  • Contract length- 12 months

KO2's client is an award-winning automotive electronics business that specialises in developing ECUs for electric vehicles (EVs). Due to increasing project demands, they require an experienced Automotive Verification Engineer to join the team and perform HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing for a new ECU development project.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct HIL testing using a Vector Test Rig
  • Use Vector tools such as CANoe, vTeststudio, and CAPL
  • Modify C# test scripts provided by Vector to meet project requirements

Experience Required:

  • Automotive experience
  • HIL testing
  • Vector tool chain (e.g., CANoe, vTeststudio, CAPL)
  • ASPICE knowledge

Desirable Experience:

  • EV experience / EV charging systems (CCS/MCS standards)
  • C# programming
