AVIONIC TECHNICIANS - Contract Opportunity - Birmingham ????????????????????Work: Aircraft modification programme based in Birmingham, converting Boeing 737NG into "The worlds most advanced, capable and reliable Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C0) platform"Duration of contract: 6 months rollingLocation: BirminghamHours: 11 hour days 10 hours paid.Rate: Competitive hourly Ltd rate (outside IR35)Shift: Mon-ThursdaySubject to Military clearanceResponsibilities:* Comprehensive disassembly and removal of avionics equipment.* Proficient installation of intricate wiring harnesses and implementation of modifications to existing wiring within avionic shelves and panels.* Proficiency in all facets of electrical and avionics tasks.* Precise execution of wiring terminations and thorough testing procedures.* Dismantling and reinstallation of diverse shelves, panels, and equipment.* Meticulous fabrication and testing of wiring looms.* Thorough systems testing and validation.Experience required: Major Modification experience desirable . Experience in various aspects of aircraft electrical systems, encompassing electrical installation, functioning, fault finding, electrical sub-assembly, loom building, and inspection.
