Behaviour Mentor | Birmingham, B19 | £90 - £105 per day | ASAP Start

We are seeking a committed and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to join our partner primary school in the Lozells area. This role offers the rewarding chance to significantly impact the development and success of students who need extra support in managing behaviours. The school is looking for someone to start full-time from September, with the position becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a student with challenging behaviour.
  • Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement strategies that promote positive behavioural outcomes.
  • Foster active participation and engagement in learning.
  • Assist students with their overall wellbeing by providing targeted interventions to support their learning and development.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Experience of managing challenging behaviours and good knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
  • Have experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Have a passion for helping children to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
