Your new companyYou will be joining a high-profile main contractor based in Birmingham operating in the water industry. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work with a major water provider in the Midlands region and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the water industry and, due to significant growth, they are looking to onboard a Commercial Manager to join their team.
Your new roleAs Commercial Manager, you will be based out of their Birmingham office and be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Effectively managing operational efficiency and change, identifying areas for improvement
- Supporting with framework and bid submission packs
- Assessing and reporting on commercial aspects of project performance
- Ensuring monthly commercial reports are accurately completed
- Managing relationships with both internal and external project stakeholders
- Efficiently managing costs and budgets.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will have:
- Working knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 forms of contract
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills
- Professional membership (e.g. RICS, ICE)
- Full UK driving licence.
