Our client in the Birmingham area is looking for a Conveyancing Secretary to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth.

Benefits:

  • Salary - Up to 28,000 DOE
  • Hours of work - Monday to Friday - 37.5hrs per week
  • 28 Days Holiday (Inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable handling calls with clients and estate agents.
  • Proactive team player, working accurately to meet deadlines.
  • Computer literate, familiar with Case Management Systems.
  • Maintain files and records efficiently.
  • Manage sale matters with minimal supervision, from file opening to post-completion tasks, including drafting contracts, completion statements, and using HM Land Registry portal.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience.
  • Experience utilising the HM Land Registry Portal and archiving.
  • Excellent client care skills.
  • Experience with drafting contracts, completion statements, and AP1/SDLT.
  • Experience within a conveyancing environment
