Flourish Education are currently seeking an Early Years Teacher to work with Nursery and Reception children at a "Good"- overall rated school in Quinton. This is a larger school, and planning would be shared across the team.

Our client are seeking an experienced Early Years Teacher to work within a large Early Years Team, the school are ideally seeking someone who is experienced and can deploy Teaching Assistants effectively to support the needs of pupils across Nursery and reception.

This position is starting after February Half Term and continuing until Easter in the first instance but is expected to continue until the end of the academic Year.

As an Early Years Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Full class responsibilities including planning, teaching, and marking for both Nursery and Reception
  • Deploying Teaching Assistants effectively to support pupil learning
  • Promoting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and Birth to Five curriculum
  • Monitoring and assessing children's progress, reporting to leadership
  • Ensuring excellent behaviour management in line with the school's policies

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience as a Primary Teacher, ideally within Early Years (Nursery and Reception)
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Ability to manage behaviour effectively and work within a team
  • Previous UK teaching experience is required
  • Knowledge of the Birth to Five Framework and EYFS standards
  • A positive attitude with a passion for working with young children
