TeacherActive are supporting a number of colleges and adult learning centres across the West Midlands and we are looking to add passionate and experienced English teachers with a focus on functional skills and working with adults.
This would be suited to someone with a teaching qualification and experience of teaching English to GCSE level with a good understanding of functional skills.
You’ll be supporting a varied range of adults looking to attain their level 2 in Functional Skills English.
To be suitable for the role you will be:
- Have a PGCE/Post graduate certificate in education ideally
- Knowledge and experience of teaching English to functional skills learners
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new DBS asap
- Be free Monday to Thursday and happy to teach 4-5 hours a day
