As an Estimator you will play a key role in the pre-sales process, ensuring accurate, timely and competitive cost estimates for customer projects.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of Fire and Security systems.
- Review project specifications, blueprints, and client requirements to determine the scope of work and associated costs and produce quotations from information supplied by clients, engineers, or personal site visits.
- Obtain and analyse quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements, address concerns, and provide updates on estimates and proposals.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, project changes, and cost variations. Provide regular reports to management on estimating activities and project status.
- Provide technical and commercial assistance.
- Protect the businesses commercial interests by ensuring quotations are produced with profitability in mind.
Skills and Experience required:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the Fire and Security industry or a related field.
- Familiarity with cost estimation software and techniques is essential.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage own workload.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Looks for ways to improve and enhance existing systems and processes.
