We are seeking a team of diligent and responsible Exam Invigilators to join our supply pool on a casual basis. 

The Exam Invigilator plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and smooth operation of the examination process. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to maintain a focused environment conducive to assessment. The invigilator will oversee the administration of examinations, ensuring that all protocols are adhered to, and that students are able to perform to the best of their abilities in a calm and controlled setting. This role is essential in fostering a fair testing environment, vital for upholding academic standards and the reputation of our institutions.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to upholding examination regulations. Responsibilities
  • Supervise students during examinations to ensure compliance with examination regulations.
  • Prepare examination venues by arranging seating and verifying that all necessary materials are in place.
  • Remain vigilant throughout the examination, monitoring for any signs of misconduct or irregularities.
  • Facilitate the distribution and collection of examination papers and materials in a timely manner.
  • Provide assistance to students as required, while maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
  • Report any incidents or issues to the appropriate authorities promptly and accurately.
Requirements
  • We require all successful applicants to have a minimum of a GCSE in English, Maths and Science and must be over the age of 18
  • Previous experience in an educational or supervisory role is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict guidelines meticulously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with students and staff.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment.
