Interim Head of Finance (12 month initial assignment) | £70,000 - £80,000 | Birmingham (80%+ home working)
The Opportunity
Growth SME operating within the technology sector (software / app / gaming development) have an immediate requirement for a Qualified Head of Finance.
As number 1 in finance you will be a vital sounding board to the MD / board of directors (and arms length investors).
You’ll enjoy a high degree of autonomy and 80%+ of your time will be spent remotely from a home office.
This is a modern, ambitious and expanding SME - an agile setting where there is constant strive for improvement and growth. They have recently generated significant investment and you will be part of the next phase of scale up which will see the business transition from £5m to £10m+ turnover.
It’s a hands on role, managing a small team and you must be comfortable getting sleeves rolled up and into the nitty gritty where required. You must also be a strategic thinker - able to contribute to commercial discussions and growth plans.
It would suit a proactive, forward-thinking head of finance who enjoys the cut and thrust of an SME.
The role is initially a 12 month assignment.
Required:
- Ability to manage the finance function of a reasonably complex and highly ambitious tech-led SME.
- Confidence in your ability to present financial information to a none finance audience.
- CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Excellent analytical skills.
