Job Title: Head of Gas and Electrical Operations

Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham

Job Location: B1 2JB - Some hybrid working and travel to group GSA offices as appropriate.

Salary - £77,000 per annum

Contract type - Permanent

Working hours - Full time - 37hours

About the role

GreenSquareAccord has a legal duty to ensure our properties and customers` homes are well maintained and safe. We must adhere to pertinent regulations to service and maintain gas, electric and fossil fuel appliances within our properties. This role will be responsible for the delivery of electrical testing and repairs, gas and oil heating servicing and repair and replacement in properties GreenSquare own, and provide a Management function for the team as a whole. A great deal of diligence is required to plan and monitor our progress to ensure GreenSquareAccord are compliant at all times.

You will ensure we adhere to relevant service and maintenance standards, maintaining 100% compliance with service and inspections cycles and meeting our KPI metrics.

You will ensure that your team works safely at all times and keeps our residents safe. Delivering timely repairs and maintenance and planned investment programmes to minimise disruption.

You will be used to managing large budgets and operating a trading account to demonstrate value for money of services provided.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

About you

You will have a proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams and dispersed field based services.

You will be disciplined within an associated mechanical and electrical field of expertise and all aspects of its regulation and safety standards.

You will have excellent communication skills and have a good working knowledge of the domestic housing market and the operations and regulation of registered housing providers and a good understanding of technical requirements associated with mechanical and electrical installations.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role. Without this evidence, you would be unable to commence employment at GreenSquareAccord.
