Head of Quality

£85,000-£95,000 base salary + up to 15% performance-based bonus

Our client is a global manufacturing organisation who have been operating in the UK for over 30 years, establishing themselves with a series of top-tier clients. With a global presence and over 1000 employees in the UK alone, they are now generating a multi-billion turnover.
Over the last 10 years this organisation has seen dramatic growth in the UK. As such, they have created a dynamic environment focused on creating opportunities for personal growth.
As a result, they are looking to recruit a Head of Quality with immediate effect.
The Role
The role of Head of Quality will involve driving business strategy and ensuring that a quality-focused culture is embedded within the business. This role will interface between internal and customer stakeholders to ensure consistency in quality standards in order to achieve agreed SLAs. The Head of Quality will be responsible for:
- Directly overseeing the whole quality function, managing a quality team of 10.
- Planning, organisation and implementation of customer quality requirements as well as internal quality targets, including group quality objectives, systems and procedures.
- Ensuring overall quality control of process, raw materials and products in line with regulatory and industry standards.
- Ensuring quality systems are designed to the latest industry standards and are understood throughout the wider team.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application for this Head of Quality role you will need:
- Experience managing quality strategy within a manufacturing environment
- Strong customer interfacing skills, with the ability to align customer SLAs with internal objectives
- A strong people leader with proven experience leading from the front
