Homeownership Officer
Location: Birmingham

Are you an experienced Homeownership Officer looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a forward-thinking housing organisation in Birmingham seeking a skilled professional to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Key Responsibilities of a Homeownership Officer:
  • Managing a portfolio of shared ownership and leasehold properties.
  • Administering service charges, ground rent, and other financial obligations.
  • Assisting with leaseholder queries and disputes, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Processing Right to Buy and Right to Acquire applications.
  • Providing advice and support on leasehold management and compliance with housing regulations.
  • Preparing documentation and reports, including Section 20 notices.
About You:
  • Proven experience in leasehold or homeownership management within social housing.
  • Excellent understanding of shared ownership, leasehold regulations, and service charge processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage complex queries effectively.
  • Knowledge of housing systems and software is desirable.
  • A proactive and solution-focused mindset.
Important Information:
This is an office-based role, working full-time Monday to Friday.
