Are you an experienced Homeownership Officer looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a forward-thinking housing organisation in Birmingham seeking a skilled professional to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Key Responsibilities of a Homeownership Officer:
- Managing a portfolio of shared ownership and leasehold properties.
- Administering service charges, ground rent, and other financial obligations.
- Assisting with leaseholder queries and disputes, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Processing Right to Buy and Right to Acquire applications.
- Providing advice and support on leasehold management and compliance with housing regulations.
- Preparing documentation and reports, including Section 20 notices.
- Proven experience in leasehold or homeownership management within social housing.
- Excellent understanding of shared ownership, leasehold regulations, and service charge processes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage complex queries effectively.
- Knowledge of housing systems and software is desirable.
- A proactive and solution-focused mindset.
This is an office-based role, working full-time Monday to Friday.
