Are you interested in contributing to the largest transformation programme within the power/utilities sector, working towards a net zero/carbon neutral UK? We are looking for an IT Commercial Lead to act as the main interface between the organisations Legal department & the core IT stakeholder group. You will be responsible for drafting commercial terms with key IT suppliers, implementing performance measures/KPI's and service level metrics to manage effective delivery of key IT services, on time and to budget. You will ideally have worked in a greenfield environment and have drafted terms that are bespoke and fit for purpose with the support of the legal team to ensure robust contracts are in place. You will be a dynamic individual, who is extremely delivery focused and has a proven track record of working on large scale transformation/scale up programmes, managing multiple high value contracts across a varied range of IT Services. Experience of working within a regulated environment would also be beneficial.

  • ESSENTIAL - Proven track record of working as an IT Commercial/Procurement professional in a change and transformation environment

  • Strong negotiator and commercially savvy
  • Delivery focused and driven
  • Working knowledge of managing IT suppliers and IT contracts with key deliverables
  • Effective stakeholder management within IT
  • CIPS qualified (desirable)
