- Conduct quality assurance and improvement activities in line with the IQA strategy and awarding body requirements, focusing on formative assessment.
- Develop and implement risk-based sampling plans, ensuring alignment with IQA strategy.
- Provide constructive, supportive, and timely feedback to tutors on formative assessments, encouraging creativity and learner-centred approaches.
- Collaborate with tutors to develop action plans that promote continuous improvement and learner engagement.
- Ensure compliance with DfE funding rules and internal quality standards, driving continuous improvement throughout the learning journey.
- Lead standardisation activities, fostering collaboration to share best practices and ensure consistency across the programmes.
- Facilitate ongoing development for Apprenticeship Tutors and delivery team including induction training and continuous professional development (CPD), ensuring they meet teaching and assessment standards.
- Share best practices and innovative assessment approaches through team meetings, cross-departmental projects, and external collaborations.
- Contribute to the development of the Self-Assessment Review and Quality Improvement Plan, ensuring the provision consistently meets the needs of learners and employers.
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of learner onboarding documentation in the BUD system.
- Ensure Apprenticeship Tutors maintain accurate CPD logs.
- Teaching and Learning qualification (Level 4 or above).
- Occupational Competence at Level 5 in Early Years Education and/or Teaching.
- Assessor and Internal Verification qualifications (e.g., TAQA, A1, D32/33 awards).
- Strong communication, and coaching skills, with an ability to provide motivational and developmental feedback.
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as Ofsted and the ESFA/DfE.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ESFA funding rules, Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework, and other relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and build effective working relationships.
