- Tender & Estimator Collaboration: Partner with estimators during the tender stage to secure competitive pricing and identify long lead items.
- Supplier Engagement: Liaise with suppliers to resolve technical queries and address issues before drawing approvals.
- Order Management: Place orders for requisitioned items at the best price and ensure suitable delivery schedules.
- Delivery Oversight: Monitor order progress and manage subcontract works to meet project timelines. Escalate any delivery or supply issues to the relevant contract or setting out manager.
- Invoice & Dispute Resolution: Sign off on monthly invoices against delivery notes to maximize discounts.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role or equivalent
- Familiarity with joinery and metalwork is advantageous.
- Proven strong negotiation skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- A flexible and committed approach with a drive to meet company objectives.
- NVQ in Business is a plus.
