Are you a Graduate or Junior CAD Technician looking to start or continue your career in an exciting new role? Do you have experience in AutoCAD or similar and are looking for a company who will help you further your technical design skills with lots of training and progress your career into more senior positions within the company?
On offer is the opportunity to join a growing bespoke furniture and upholstery company that works within the hospitality industry creating handmade furnishings for both independent and high-profile clients across the UK, including big names such as Starbucks, Soho House, Travelodge and Leon.
The day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the wider team to ensure project requirements are met, creating working drawings for design and manufacturing and updating and maintaining drawing files and documentation, participating in project meetings to understand technical requirements and booking and completing site visits and liaising with contractors
This role would suit a Graduate or Junior CAD Technician with a background in AutoCAD or similar looking to start or further their career in a growing bespoke furniture and upholstery company who fit out commercial premises for several big clients and can provide progression opportunities along with a host of great benefits.
The Role:
- Producing 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Monday - Friday 8:30-4:30
- Occasional site visits
- Fast-paced environment
The Person:
- Background in AutoCAD or similar
- Full UK driver's license
- Commutable to Stourbridge
