Our client who was awarded great place to work in 2024 is looking for a driven candidate to join their team in navigating global shipping and logistic challenges with precision and excellence.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in LCL shipments and have direct experience working for a UK based freight forwarder.

- 22 days increasing to 25 plus bank holidays.

Main Duties:
- Maintaining knowledge of market trends and reporting when necessary.
- Communicating, collaborating and maintaining relationships with oversea agents to process bookings.
- Coordinating all LCL bookings.
- Organising all Import, Export and Cross trade bookings.
- Controlling costs of consols.
- Identifying opportunities of becoming more sufficient.
- Working collaboratively with the operations team.
- Working collaboratively with UK warehouses.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Experiencing deal with LCL.
- Experience doing Imports and Exports - Start to finish
Desirable:
- Previous experience within a freight forwarding company
- High level of communication skills
- Commercial knowledge
