Locum Band 7 Pharmacist required – Full-Time Opportunity in the West Midlands available from February 2025!

Our client, a large acute NHS trust located in the West Midlands, is currently recruiting for a full-time locum pharmacist with hospital experience to join their team as soon as possible (February 2025 start). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated pharmacist to work in a ward-based setting, providing essential clinical pharmacy support across medical and surgical wards.

Key Details:

  • Position: Locum Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist
  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (with a 30-minute lunch break)
  • Location: West Midlands
  • Parking: Onsite parking available
  • Ward-Based Role: The position involves direct interaction with patients and healthcare teams on the wards, ensuring safe and effective use of medications, patient counselling, and clinical input on treatment plans.
  • Pay Rate: £28 - £31 per hour (via PAYE Direct Engagement)
  • Contract length - Up to 6 months! 

The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital pharmacy, preferably in a ward-based setting, and be confident in supporting multidisciplinary teams across medical and surgical wards.
