Role: M365 Consultant
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months (Likely to extend)
Responsibilities
Provide technical/architectural direction to project delivery teams regarding infrastructure solutions Responsible for working with project delivery teams to create Operational/Support documentation for Infrastructure solutions
Responsible for Solution Design, Detail Design and implementation of infrastructure components of project solutions within agreed time frames
Responsible for developing Infrastructure requirement documents to engage vendors
Create infrastructure technology strategy and architecture roadmaps
Develop and maintain Infrastructure technology standards
Lead and document architecture and solution design for technology implementation
Skills
Collaboration related technologies M365 Exchange Online, G Suite, Skype for Business, MS Exchange, Teams and archival related technologies
MS Active Directory, ADFS, AD Connect Single Sign On technologies
Microsoft Entra AD, Tenant administration, Enterprise App registration
Migration hand on Active directory, On premise to office 365, Tenant to tenant (Exchange online, SharePoint online and OneDrive)
Internal and external IT security requirements/protections
Understand various network technologies switches, routers, firewalls etc. (Optional)
Cloud infrastructure technology (Azure/Entra) IaaS, SaaS, PaaS solution delivery/integration Windows/Linux server environments, VMWare, SAN (Optional)
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience working as a M365 Architect/Consultant
Able to communicate and work with multiple stakeholders including program delivery, technology operations, architecture team
Experience in working within enterprise architecture framework
Experience in developing and presenting solution option papers and recommendations
Experience in working with large infrastructure and network projects
Experience in analysing existing systems, identifying the business requirements and recommending fit for purpose solutions
Experience working through migration of existing/legacy infrastructure loads to the new infrastructure platforms
