A friendly and supportive secondary school in Shirley is looking for a dedicated MFL Teacher to cover maternity leave, starting in April. This role involves delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in Spanish, French, and/or German to students across KS3 and KS4. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about language learning and committed to helping students succeed.
Key Responsibilities:As an MFL Teacher in Shirley, you will:
- Teach Spanish, french and/or German to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering a love for languages and cultural awareness.
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the school's curriculum to maximise students' language proficiency.
- Support students in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in both languages.
- Adapt teaching methods to cater to individual learning needs, ensuring an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning within the Shirley school community.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Modern Foreign Languages.
- Experience teaching both Spanish and French, ideally at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills, with a passion for supporting students in their language learning journey.
