A friendly and supportive secondary school in Shirley is looking for a dedicated MFL Teacher to cover maternity leave, starting in April. This role involves delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in Spanish, French, and/or German to students across KS3 and KS4. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about language learning and committed to helping students succeed.

As an MFL Teacher in Shirley, you will:

• Teach Spanish, french and/or German to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering a love for languages and cultural awareness.
• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the school's curriculum to maximise students' language proficiency.
• Support students in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in both languages.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to individual learning needs, ensuring an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning within the Shirley school community.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Modern Foreign Languages.
• Experience teaching both Spanish and French, ideally at the secondary level.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills, with a passion for supporting students in their language learning journey.
• An organised and enthusiastic teacher, ready to step into this role in Shirley immediately.
