Job Opportunity: MFL Teacher

A welcoming secondary school in Sparkhill is seeking a skilled MFL Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis, beginning in April. This role involves delivering engaging and high-quality Spanish, French and/or German lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. We are looking for an enthusiastic MFL Teacher who is passionate about language learning and dedicated to fostering student's success.
Key Responsibilities:
As an MFL Teacher in Sparkhill, you will:
- Teach Spanish, French and/or German to KS3 and KS4 students, inspiring a love for language and cultural exploration.
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the school's curriculum, aiming to maximise students' language proficiency.
- Support students in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in both languages.
- Adapt lessons to meet individual student needs, fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards in teaching and learning within this Sparkhill school community.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required, with a specialisation in Modern Foreign Languages.
- Experience teaching both Spanish, French or/and German, ideally at the secondary level.
- Strong communication skills and classroom management abilities, with a dedication to supporting student's language journey.
- An organised, enthusiastic Teacher ready to start in Sparkhill in April.
