Exciting opportunity for a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a small, friendly team; working at a busy, family run nursery based in Coleshill B46. The role is currently for part-time hours (16-20 hours per week).
We are an all year round provision (open 51 weeks per year), open from 7.30 - 6pm Monday- Friday.
Responsibilities:
- To provide high standards of care to children aged 2-4 years.
- To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculum are implemented and adhered to at all times
- To develop strong links with parents
- To carry the responsibility for key children; planning for them to ensure they are supported both academically and emotionally
- To ensure all children are cared for in a safe and positive environment in line with our Safeguarding Policy.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Level 3 childcare qualification (essential)
- Passion for early years education
- Sound knowledge of OFSTED inspection framework
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
- Good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
It would be desirable that candidates have Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene Certificates but not essential as training will be provided.
