We are working with a highly respected legal firm to recruit a Supervisor for their Vehicle Hire Team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and dynamic team with a strong reputation in credit hire dispute resolution.About the Role:As Supervisor, you will oversee a team of handlers responsible for managing litigated credit hire claims. The team works with an extensive portfolio of clients, including insurers and self-insured corporate, providing solutions across small-track, multi-track, and fraudulent claims.This role also offers the opportunity to provide clients with strategic advice, leveraging insights into trends and behaviours within the market to influence wider practices.Why Consider This Opportunity?

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising a team managing volume litigated credit hire cases.
  • Conducting performance reviews, managing absences, and providing coaching for career progression.
  • Monitoring financial performance to ensure targets are met.
  • Ensuring client service standards (SLAs and KPIs) are consistently achieved.
  • Handling a small caseload of mixed-value pre-litigated and litigated credit hire claims.
  • Acting as a key client contact, supporting business development and client training activities.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven supervisory experience, ideally within Vehicle Hire or a similar environment.
  • Experience managing caseloads that include credit hire, personal injury, or comparable claims.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • A resilient, commercially minded professional eager to learn and adapt.
