Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Produce pre-design budgets to inform project feasibility.
  • Write comprehensive schedules of works to guide project timelines.
  • Attend tender interviews and present project proposals.
  • Fully cost projects and develop detailed specifications.
  • Engage with sub-contractors to ensure foundational elements are in place and identify value engineering opportunities.
  • Develop detailed specification costs to maximize potential profits before handover to the delivery team.
  • Assist with placing orders and managing procurement processes.
  • Contribute to bid writing efforts, ensuring clarity and competitiveness.
  • Assist with programming projects to align with client expectations.
  • Maintain a client-facing role, effectively communicating project progress and updates.
  • Preparing and agreeing on interim valuations with clients' representatives and managing supply chain payments.

About You:

  • Preferably you will have previous experience with a Design & Build Fit Out company or Main Contractor.
  • Ideally you will have office fit out experience (not essential)
  • Demonstrated success in delivering and presenting winning bids and tenders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A creative thinker who can manage client budgets innovatively, offering alternative materials and processes while adhering to commercial constraints.
  • Will work collaboratively with the Design team to align the commercial aspects of proposals.
  • Comfortable meeting and negotiating with supply chain leaders to ascertain project costs.
