Elect Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for Prison experienced Nurses to work within the West Midlands Area.
You will be required to work within a diverse male prison environment covering a wide range of nurse-led services which will include health assessments, minor injuries, and illnesses, end-of-life/palliative care, emergency, and unscheduled care, managing long-term conditions and nurse led clinics.
It is essential that you either have Prison Clearance in place or have previously worked within the Prison Sector and your Clearance has now lapsed. Current UK registration from the NMC and have a minimum of 6 months experience within a UK Prison Setting.
To be considered for this role it is essential that you have ongoing experience in:
ECG
Phlebotomy
Immunisations & Vaccinations
Wound Care
Medication Administration
Emergency Response
Head, Chest and Abdomen Assessment
AM & PM Screening
Secondary Screening
You must have resilience, patience, communication skills, problem-solving, compassion, and prioritisation skills. Conflict management skills and understanding of the criminal justice system are valuable assets.
This role comes with a great pay rate of £325.00 - £520.00 per day depending on the shift pattern with a great opportunity for any Prison Nurse looking to start work immediately.
You will be expected to work within a flexible working pattern over a seven-day week, covering shifts which consist of: Long Days, Earlies and Lates between the hours of 07:00am to 21:15pm.
