Reward Specialist | 12 Month FTC | Birmingham | £50,000 - £56,000 | Hybrid
For Europe's biggest infrastructure project, based in Birmingham, we are recruiting a Reward Specialist for a 12 months FTC. This role will work within a small friendly team to advise on all aspects of Reward, including benefits, pensions, salary benchmarking, job evaluation, governance, forecasting and reporting requirements. The Reward Analyst will also be the main point of contact for all Reward related employee queries. This role is based out of Birmingham and is hybrid working with 2-days per week in the office.
Main Duties:
- Delivery of Reward activities including pay reviews, benefits administration, apprentice pay, and salary range reviews
- Lead Reward activities to support HR and the wider business, providing advise to HR, Line Managers and Employees alike.
- Design and develop Reward tools, reward templates, guidelines and calculators
- Partner with 3rd party Benefit providers and assist in delivery of key benefits projects including annual benefits renewals and pensions re-enrolment
- Support the payroll team with salary sacrifice, and benefits reporting
- Reward governance and salary benchmarking, working with the Head of Reward to produce reports for Remuneration Committee
- Pay modelling and provision of analysis and proposals for Pay Ranges Review
- Provide internal and external benchmarking salary data to Head of Reward
- Project manage job evaluation activities using Hay Methodology
- Point of contact for grading senior roles, maintain governance of job evaluation library, ensuring all data library items are robust and up to date.
Person Specification:
- Strong experience and training in the Hay Job Evaluation methodology and communication evaluation outcomes
- Experience of Reward analysis and providing advice to employees
- Experience working at an operational level in a Reward team
- Coordination and delivery of annual pay reviews
- Experience working with salary survey providers including Hay Korn Ferry, WTW, survey interpretation, pay ranges review and analysis and pay modelling
- Experience of project delivery using pay design and organisational design processes
