KS2/SEMH Teacher

Education Personnel are working closely with an Alternative Provision in Birmingham who are searching for an experienced Primary teacher who can support secondary aged pupils who have varying SEMH needs.

The provision supports secondary aged pupils, many who need additional support with English and Maths at a primary level.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Must have experience teaching KS2 Literacy/English and Numeracy/Maths
  • Strong behaviour management
  • Experience working with students who have varying needs and abilities
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience working with students with EHCPs and statements.
