A wonderful school in Acocks Green is looking to take on a SEND teaching assistant on a long term basis.
As a SEND teaching assistant, you will be working across key stage 1 and 2 including outdoor activities, technology, and other non-conventional ways of learning outside the classroom.
The successful SEND teaching assistant will have:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Outstanding people skills
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience in dealing with challenging behaviours/SEMH with ASD/ASC
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent communication skills
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Capable of building rapport with pupils on a 1:1 basis.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Resilient and compassionate
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Caring and empathetic nature
