The School and Role

ABC Teachers is seeking enthusiastic and qualified SEND Teachers to start in September 2024.

We work closely with a range of SEND and Alternative Provision settings to find skilled educators for long-term roles. These positions cover a variety of subjects and are tailored to meet the specific needs of students. Our aim is to match your skills, experience, and passions with schools where you can make the greatest impact.

As a SEND Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, delivering, marking, and assessing tailored lessons to meet individual student needs.
  • Collaborating with support staff to ensure all students receive personalized support.
  • Adapting teaching strategies to accommodate a range of learning styles and abilities.
About You

The ideal SEND Teacher will have:

  • A degree in Special Education (or a related field) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or significant experience teaching students with SEND aligned with the national curriculum.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A creative and forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning.
  • A commitment to fostering the progress and well-being of all students.
  • Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills to meet diverse learning needs.
  • A proactive, dedicated, and child-centered attitude.
