The Company
- My client are Specialists in Manufacturing and Installation of Doors & Windows.
- They have over 35 years experience.
- Working across Glazing,Windows & Doors and some cladding works.
- They predominately work on residential projects ranging up to 15m.
The Role - Senior Estimator
My client are looking for a proactive Senior Estimator, who has a strong background inthe facade/glazing/fenestration industry to join them in their office inBirminghamCentre.
Duties:
- Assessment of incoming enquiries for suitability and risk.
- Analysis of any potential technical issues including liaising with relevant consultants, architects and clients to bring to a successful conclusion.
- Preparation and submission of subcontract and material enquiries and assessment of incoming quotations for suitability/value.
- Attend/conduct meetings with client/architect/consultant.
- Carry out full take off and detailed pricing.
- Working alongside a team of Senior Estimators & Estimators
- Training / mentoring Junior Estimators where needed
Candidates require the following as a minimum:
- 5 years+ in estimating roles within the glazing/fenestration industry.
- Working knowledge in Aluminium glazing systems.
