Your new companyYou will be joining a high-profile and established Tier 1 contractor with a proven track record in delivering complex and high-value projects within the water industry. Due to continued success and significant growth, they are now seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team.Your new roleAs Senior Project Manager, you will be based out of their Birmingham office and be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Monitoring and reviewing delivery and financial performance on projects
- Ensuring successful project delivery by liaising with the delivery team throughout the course of the schemes
- Creating and maintaining project programmes
- Approving invoices and ensuring payments are made within timescales
- Liaising with key project stakeholders including local authorities and the client
- Holding accountability for H&S auditing.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:
- Proven successful track record in managing projects from inception through to completion within the water (clean or waste) industry, with a focus on cost control, quality and safety
- Strong team leadership and people management skills
- Experience in working with NEC contracts
- Sound communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with key project stakeholders at all levels.
