Your new companyYou will be joining a high-profile and established Tier 1 contractor with a proven track record in delivering complex and high-value projects within the water industry. With a reputation for quality, innovation and safety, they work on projects across the Midlands region and offer a strong pipeline of work as well as excellent opportunities for career progression. Due to continued success and significant growth, they are now seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team.Your new roleAs Senior Project Manager, you will be based out of their Birmingham office and be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and reviewing delivery and financial performance on projects
  • Ensuring successful project delivery by liaising with the delivery team throughout the course of the schemes
  • Creating and maintaining project programmes
  • Approving invoices and ensuring payments are made within timescales
  • Liaising with key project stakeholders including local authorities and the client
  • Holding accountability for H&S auditing.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven successful track record in managing projects from inception through to completion within the water (clean or waste) industry, with a focus on cost control, quality and safety
  • Strong team leadership and people management skills
  • Experience in working with NEC contracts
  • Sound communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with key project stakeholders at all levels.
