We are seeking a Small Works and Remedials Estimator to join our team in Birmingham. This vital role ensures swift and accurate responses to quotation requests, driven by engineer reports, while considering all associated aspects such as access, plant hire, and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quotation Management: Prepare accurate quotes based on engineer reports, factoring in all necessary considerations.
- Timely Delivery: Action new quotes promptly to maintain excellent customer service standards.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all quotes are precise, comprehensive, and competitive.
- Backlog Management: Regularly monitor and manage outstanding quotes, ensuring a seamless process.
- Mailbox Oversight: Conduct daily checks to stay on top of customer and internal communications.
- Market Awareness: Identify and address sales price changes effectively.
- Process Improvement: Highlight opportunities for engineer and process enhancements.
About You:
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the fire and security industry.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in SimPRO and other operating platforms.
- Organisational Excellence: Methodical, organised, and adept at prioritising under pressure.
- Customer Focus: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to manage competing demands while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
